Polyurethane Foam
Common Names: Polyurethane foam, Urethane foam, Polyether foam, Polyester foam
Description: Polyurethane foam is an open cell material that is primarily used to protect and support lighter weight, delicate products with high fragility. This foam provides excellent cushioning and can be fabricated to meet your specifications.
Uses: Expendable packaging, convoluted cut foam (egg crate), sawcut pads and blocks.
Physical Properties: Available in 2 types: polyether and polyester. Densities: 1.0# to 2#. Colors: Charcoal (gray) and Natural (White).
Polyethylene (PE) Plank Foam
Common Names: PE Foam, PolyPlank, Polylam, PE Plank
Description: A closed cell material that is resilient, non-abrasive, and easy to fabricate. Provides excellent shock and vibration protection.
Uses: Endcap sets, support/filler foam for returnable dunnage, and waterjet cut foam for customized applications.
Physical Properties: Densities: .9# to 9#. Colors: Gray, Green, Blue, White, and Black. Standard size sheets: 24x108 & 48x108.
Crosslinked Polyethylene (XLPE)
Common Names: XLPE, Crosslink Foam, Closed Cell Foam
Description: A closed cell foam with smooth texture, water resistance, and excellent durability. EVA foams are also available.
Uses: Custom-cut foam for parts requiring Class A surface protection in automotive, appliance, and medical industries.
Physical Properties: Densities: 1.5# to 9#. Standard thickness: 2", 3", 4". Colors: Charcoal, Gray, and White. Cutting tolerance: +/- .125".
